Dell Venue 11 Pro Camera Not Working Windows 10

The rear camera just can t be launched everytime i flip the camera to the rear the screen turns black and nothing happens.

Dell venue 11 pro camera not working windows 10. My preinstalled camera devices on my dell venue8 pro tablet not working after upgrading from windows 8 1 to windows 10. I have to restart the device to get the camera to work again. Camera does not work jump to solution. I just got this new tablet dell venue 11 pro 4 days ago. Problem of rear camera on dell venue 11 pro 5130 64g. I tried the camera the day i got the tablet and worked fine. This issue does not appear right after boot but it only happens after a considerably long period of standby. On boot up the camera on my dell venue 10 pro work fine but if the tablet goes to sleep the camera does not work when the device wakes up. The solution is to disable hardware drivers updates immediately after upgrading or fresh install of windows 10.

Unfortunately rolling back the drivers doesn t help. There have been a lot of window updates since i got it connected to the internet so my suspicion is one has disabled or removed drivers e. Windows 10 will automatically update those drivers in a few days and the new camera and sound drivers don t work. Dell studio 1558 laptop os cannot see the device no camera available to update.

It was suggested it s down to the microsoft camera codec pack as uninstalling that seemed to make it work but then later updates meant you couldn t remove it at all. Please find me a solution this thread is locked. Venue 8 pro upgraded to windows 10. They are the newer ones listed as being compatible with windows 10.
